Offices here, and firms that serve here — listed the same way, in alphabetical order. The city does not rank them and does not recommend one.
Help us get this right
This list is new. Tell us what's wrong with it.
This page was assembled from the Mississippi Real Estate Commission licensee records, the Marion County Development Partnership business directory, the Hattiesburg Area Association of REALTORS® office roster, and public business listings. Offices and phone numbers are checked against the state licence record where one exists, but it has not been confirmed office by office with the people in it.
If you see a wrong number, an old address, a firm that has closed, or — most likely — a Columbia office we have missed entirely, tell us and it is fixed the same week. Send a correction or call 601.736.8201.
We would rather publish an imperfect list that the people in it can correct than leave residents with nothing.

Renting instead
Apartments.
Not everyone moving to Columbia is buying. These are apartment communities listed in the county business directory — they are not brokerages, so they are kept separate from the list above.
- East Columbia Apartments — 717 Mississippi Avenue · (601) 736-5074
- Oak Place Apartments — 31 Harrision Jefferson Drive · (601) 736-4187
Most apartments in Columbia are managed through local real estate offices rather than directly by the city or by a dedicated property-management company. The offices listed above are a useful place to ask about current availability.
⚠️ The second address is reproduced as it appears in the county directory and the street-name spelling may need correcting — one for the proofing pass.
How this list works
A directory, not a recommendation.
The City of Columbia lists every real estate office serving the city on the same terms, with the same fields, in alphabetical order. The city does not rank them, compare them, vet them, or recommend any of them. Choosing who represents you in the largest purchase of your life is your decision and none of the city's business.
Licensing is the state's job, not ours. Every real estate broker and agent in Mississippi is licensed by the Mississippi Real Estate Commission, and you can confirm any license — and any disciplinary history — through them directly. That is a better check than anything a city directory could offer.
If your office serves Columbia and is not listed, tell us and we will add it. No fee, no application, no membership required. Send us the details — office name, address, phone and website — or call 601.736.8201.
Buying in the historic district? There is a 25% state rehabilitation tax credit most owners never claim, and it applies to owner-occupied homes. Worth knowing before you make an offer — see Historic District & Tax Credits.

Water, gas, electricity and internet all have to be started separately — and only the water is the city's.
